Hunter Brown
What do you hope to achieve in 2025?
I hope to ensure everyone at Saint Mary’s enjoys every part of their education, and through experiences in school have an idea of what they would like to achieve after school.
What does it mean to you to be a leader?
Being a leader means being a role model. I can be in the spotlight and by doing great things others can replicate.
What advice do you have for students who want to be future leaders?
Always listen, do not be afraid to ask questions and lead by example.

What do you hope to achieve in 2025?
In 2025 I will strive to uphold and strengthen our schools’ traditions of inclusivity, nurture and warmth. I envision our community growing together to foster an even stronger sense of family.
What does it mean to you to be a leader?
To me, a leader means being a team player, showing initiative and exuding enthusiasm, and striving to do your best for yourself and everyone around you.
What advice do you have for students who want to be future leaders?
For the future leaders of our community, I encourage you to stay true to yourself and your values, to show respect to everyone and maintain a growth mindset. You can achieve anything you put your mind to, as long you give it your all.

What do you hope to achieve in 2025?
In 2025 I hope to become an inspiring role model to younger students. I want to be a person who demonstrates all the qualities of our school and someone that students feel comfortable to talk to.
What does it mean to you to be a leader?
In my opinion, being a leader is someone that everyone can look up to. They strive to be their best all the time and never give up. A leader stands out in a group, without looking down on others or making anyone feel unimportant.
What advice do you have for students who want to be future leaders?
Advice I would have for students looking to be a future leader would mainly consist of being kind. Acts of kindness are noticed all the time and the ability to be kind to everyone is such a strong quality that a leader can have. Always have a passion to achieve greatness and inspire others and being a leader will come naturally.

What do you hope to achieve in 2025?
Throughout 2025 I have many things I want to strive to achieve as a leader. These are to encourage that every student within our school community to feel included, cared for and to make sure there they are never placed in any position where they feel uncomfortable.
What does it mean to you to be a leader?
To me being a leader means, including every individual in activities and events, acting as a positive role-model, and ensuring that everyone has a shoulder to lean on – if needed.
What advice do you have for students who want to be future leaders?
For future leaders, the advice I would give to them is that the best way to be a leader doesn’t incorporate standing alone but standing together, being there for one another. Without your team, being a strong leader is difficult, so spread positivity together.

What do you hope to achieve in 2025?
In 2025 I hope to bring awareness to real life issues surrounding students and their wellbeing. I truly believe that this is such an important topic that hasn’t gained enough awareness in our school.
What does it mean to you to be a leader?
It means a great deal to me to be a leader. I’ve always been a very outspoken person and it’s time I use that for good. I want students to look up to me as someone they can go to and know something will be said.
What advice do you have for students who want to be future leaders?
I would tell them that no matter what you believe in or how you act now there is always a chance for you in the future. I want you to believe in yourself like no one else does, your support and determination will be the most rewarding thing you’ll do.

What do you hope to achieve in 2025?
My goal for 2025 is to get more students involved in different sports, as getting new sports up and running at Saint Mary’s would be amazing.
What does it mean to you to be a leader?
Being a leader means a lot for me as I have been wanting to get the school going with new sports and with all the other amazing people in my cohort, we can make anything possible.
What advice do you have for students who want to be future leaders?
The advice I have for other future leaders is, be yourself and have a goal you want to achieve, with a bit of hard work you can make those goals happen.

What do you hope to achieve in 2025?
In 2025 I hope to achieve greater student attendance at sporting carnivals. I want all students to come to sporting carnivals and enjoy themselves. I want everyone to feel included and have heaps of fun!
What does it mean to you to be a leader?
Being a leader means supporting everyone, sharing your opinion and dedicating time to inspiring students. It means being there for others whenever possible and setting an example for all.
What advice do you have for students who want to be future leaders?
My advice for aspiring leaders is to just be yourself! No matter what position you are given you can make a difference in other people’s lives.

Tamika Ward
What do you hope to achieve in 2025?
As Quinn house captain in 2025 I hope to promote a positive environment that is full of good sportsmanship. I would also like to introduce many more sporting activities and opportunities beyond the main sports days.
What does it mean to you to be a leader?
To me a leader means someone who can inspire and lead a group. I want to be the leader that listens to what my peers have to say and support the rest of my cohort in their decisions. I believe that communication and teamwork will be the most important qualities to embody for the most success as a leader next year. The seniors of 2025 are striving to be leaders that other people look at and inspire to be like.
What advice do you have for students who want to be future leaders?
Always get in and give things a go, because you never know how it might end up. Work together with your peers, you will be stronger as a team that has support.

What do you hope to achieve in 2025?
Quinn to win all sporting events again and to have more sporting activities included in the year.
What does it mean to you to be a leader?
To include everyone and expand the sporting experience here at SMCC.
What advice do you have for students who want to be future leaders?
Be respectful, and encourage other students to be involved in activities.

What do you hope to achieve in 2025?
In 2025, I hope to encourage inclusivity by ensuring that everyone feels comfortable participating and giving it a go. Additionally, I will aim to enhance my leadership skills to facilitate more effective collaboration within our schooling community.
What does it mean to you to be a leader?
To me, being a leader means setting a good example for others to follow. It’s about being a team player, working together with fellow students and ensuring everyone feels valued.
What advice do you have for students who want to be future leaders?
For students who want to be future leaders, my advice is to step out of your comfort zone and embrace new challenges. Be a role model by showing integrity and responsibility in everything you do, and be sure to take others opinions into consideration.

What do you hope to achieve in 2025?
I want to help our house to win and help support all students to be confident in their sports.
What does it mean to you to be a leader?
To be proud of myself and help lead the Rush team to victory.
What advice do you have for students who want to be future leaders?
Be proud of yourself, be respectful to everyone and be who your are and have a good year.
